Chief Experience Officer
David has worked as a healthcare manger since 2001. He has extensive senior and operational management experience leading and developing Cardiothoracic Surgery, ITU and Cardiology services in the British Army, NHS and UK Private sector.

At Regent’s Park, David is responsible for prioritising a patient’s viewpoint in all our decision-making processes and keeping track of key patient related experience measures. He leads our customer experience team to collate analytics, improve design, and form insights to consistently deliver positive patient experiences. Â

David served with the Royal Army Medical Corps for thirteen years working in the surgical division of British Military hospitals in Germany (British Army Of the Rhine).

David has held posts at Directorate, Divisional, General Manager and Head of Operational Delivery level across both NHS and Private hospitals, covering Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology, Theatres, Critical Care, Diagnostics and Cancer.

He is a Registered Practitioner and worked at an advanced level in Anaesthetics, Cardiology and Surgery; he therefore brings a crucial clinical perspective to his management style. He manages people to maximise their potential, has long term vision tempered by high standards of competence and performance.
