Induction & Welcome
We help our new employees to become productive members of staff through induction and training.
These are shared alongside role and site-specific inductions, and everyone will have a buddy to help and support them. It’s important to us that all new employees are inducted appropriately.
Training Programmes
Clinical Education & Training
We offer a range of university accredited, internally delivered qualifications. Whether you are just starting your career or are ready to develop to master level, we will support you with a wide range of courses. There are a variety of learning paths available. We offer courses and modules tailored to your role, experience and goals. For each role, RPH provides a comprehensive range of training deemed necessary (and therefore mandatory) for the job. Much of our mandatory training is delivered through e-learning. We are aligned to a core skills framework with NHS learning (from Skills for Health), which ensures that our mandatory training is recognised by specialist bodies. Other training includes: • CPD (continual professional development) in line with an individual’s professional body’s requirements. • Clinical supervision and mentorship • Independent study at undergraduate and postgraduate level • Specialist training: - Health Care Assistant training programme - Scrub and Circulation - Recognising and Responding to The Deteriorating Patient (HDU); - ECG courses - Pre-Operative Assessment - Patient Assessment - Healthcare Support Worker - Recovery - Anaesthetic Practictioner - Nurse Associate - Operating Department Practitioner - Assistant Practitioner, and - Minor Procedures.
Apprenticeships
Regent's Park Healthcare (RPH) has been offering apprenticeships since 2016. We encourage people of all ages to join RPH and gain valuable qualifications and skills through our apprenticeship programmes. We run our own bespoke apprenticeships in healthcare and leadership and management. We can support your career and aspiration by offering you knowledge, skills and qualifications at all levels. We support many apprenticeship standards and the opportunities for learning are across multiple fields.
Leadership & Management
As a company led by healthcare managers with clinical experience we recognise the important intricacies between clinical pathways and core management disciplines. Ensuring you’re equipped to be a successful manager is part of what we do. We have a framework to develop you as a manager. We link our programmes to the Institute of Leadership and Management, enabling our managers to build their management skills and gain a qualification at the same time. Our programmes support all the skills a new manager requires to work with their teams at RPH. This includes leadership and team building, understanding essential HR practices, and how to use our systems, and policies with a focus on patient safety and performance. RPH will support highly motivated, ambitious managers to undertake a leadership degree. There is also an opportunity to complete an MBA or up to Level 7 Diploma Leadership qualification for those interested in becoming CQC registered managers.
